Julie Humphrey– Receptionist

My role as receptionist at Conferences UK is very rewarding and enjoyable. No two days are ever the same! My role includes taking calls from venues and prospective clients and transferring them to our very efficient and friendly venue finding agents. During the day I also welcome people into our office offering them hospitality as they wait to meet one of the members of our team.. If you ever get to visit us here at Conferences UK in our very unusual and amazing building I promise you a very friendly welcome and a good cup of coffee.

Richard Newman– Regional Account Manager - Venue Partnerships

Richard was appointed as Venue Sales Executive in June 2009 and is responsible for developing and building relationships and partnerships with new and existing venues. Richard has spent many years in both Sales and Operations in the Hotel, Conference and Hospitality industry and looks forward to playing an active role in the development of ConferencesGroup

Stan Posner– Regional Account Manager - Venue Partnerships

Stan was appointed Venue Sales Executive in May 2008 having previously gained considerable experience and contacts in the hotel industry in various hotel sales management roles. Stan is passionate about building strong relationships with venues with the aim of increasing their profitability.

Megan Gammage– Venue Finder

After moving to Manchester from a small rural town in north Buckinghamshire, Megan welcomed city life at the Conferences:UK in August 2016 as part of her BA (Hons) Events Management degree. Megan has passionately enjoyed studying her degree but now is thriving in the industry, applying her professionally developed management skills with venue sourcing. With experience volunteering in the industry across numerous venues for the past 4 years, from road shows to celebrity charity balls, Megan has the essential inside knowledge of how to ensure smooth venue operations for any type of event. Not shy of a challenge, Megan will stop at nothing to meet and exceed any of her clients event requirements and needs

Jayne Winstanley– Venue Finder

Having worked in the events industry for over 12 years, Jayne has a passion for helping all clients find the perfect venue that match their exact requirements. She has spent four years studying International Tourism Management and travelling around the world seeing lots of amazing places. Jessica Shannon Hale– Venue Finder

Jessica moved to Manchester from Pembrokeshire in South West Wales and joined Conferences: UK in May 2017 as part of her BA (Hons) Events Management degree. Whilst studying Jessica worked within many conference venues throughout Manchester such as Victoria Warehouse, Hilton Manchester Deansgate and Manchester United Football Club. Having worked for 2 years within a variety of venues Jessica has an in-depth understanding of on-site event operations that she now applies to find the most suitable venues for her clients requirements. With her professional knowledge Jessica now thrives in the event industry and is always up for a challenge.

Niamh Hiles– Venue Finder

Since moving to Manchester from a small village in Durham, Niamh started working with Conferences UK to complete her BA (hons) degree in Events Management in May 2017. Niamh has gained valuable knowledge in the events industry from having 4 years of experience through volunteering and working at events such as weddings, conferences and annual events. Niamh has gained professional understanding of the industry through having the chance to deliver such events and from also working behind the scenes in a venue sales team. Being able to work within the on-site operations of an event and also work behind the scenes has led her to have the essential expertise to find the perfect venue for any event.
